Who is covered?

Any corresponding author who is affiliated with any UC campus, UC Office of the President, or Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory can request use of this fund for their paper.

Collabra: Psychology and Elementa

What is the discount?

The APC for publication in these journals is fully covered.

How can I apply this discount?

What licenses are available?

Creative Commons license CC BY.

For more information about the importance of license selection and Creative Commons in open access publishing, see this NEJM Perspective.

What is the business model behind this arrangement?

UC Press has access to these funds to ensure that UC corresponding authors never have to pay an APC for Collabra: Psychology or Elementa.

Use of this fund has no impact on the license fee that the University of California pays to UC Press for access to subscription journals.
