Journal data about price, impact, and use: UC’s Office of Scholarly Communication maintains key data on more than 3,300 of the top scholarly journals. Data organized by journal title:
Directory of journal titles: Ulrich's Periodicals Directory gives price, publisher, and other basic information on 250,000 periodicals, including the roughly 23,000 peer-reviewed scholarly journals published worldwide. The Ulrich’s database is licensed by the UC campus libraries for use by the UC community; others may have access through their own institutions.
Publisher data about copyright policies: Use this site to find a summary of permissions that are normally given as part of each publisher's copyright transfer agreement with authors.
Challenges to licensing from some publishers: Lists the publishers whose publications are candidates for UC systemwide licensing but whose business terms and models fall outside the norms on pricing and/or other features for electronic content.
